00:00 Connecticut is that number one team in all the land. They lost
00:06 their first Big East game of this season, suffering a
00:10 defeat to Seton Hall. Since that point, Donnie, UConn is
00:13 not lost. They've won eight straight games. They have
00:16 covered in five of the eight and tonight at home in stores,
00:19 they're a thirteen and a half point favorite against
00:22 Providence. Will the win streak continue to nine for Dan
00:26 Hurley's Huskies? Uh it should continue tonight but uh by the
00:29 way, take a look at Providence, the way they've gone through
00:31 their Big East schedule here, right? Losing to Seton Hall,
00:34 Creighton, Saint Johns, and Xavier all in a row. That was
00:36 January 3rd up to January 13th. So, a terrible two-week stretch
00:39 but much better here coming out of that four losses here.
00:43 You've beaten DePaul which is a bad basketball team but you
00:45 didn't beat them Ben 7170. You beat them 100 to 62. Laying
00:49 weights to them. Seton Hall is a decent basketball club here.
00:52 Going through a little bit of you know, challenges there with
00:54 their starting lineup. You beat them by four points in
00:56 Georgetown as well. Not a great team. Eighty-four to sixty-seven
00:59 should be eighty-four to seventy-six but now you're
01:01 going all over the take on Connecticut who clearly is the
01:04 best team overall here in the Big East. If we're lining this
01:07 game up, what does Connecticut do well? Just about everything.
01:10 Forget about the defensive side of the basketball. You look at
01:12 the offense. Number one in Big East play in efficiency. Number
01:16 one in effective field goal percentage which also includes
01:18 a team that does have a couple bigs down low that shoots a
01:21 best league best. I should say 40% from three-point range in
01:26 conference play. Connecticut's gonna win this basketball game
01:29 but you know what? I'd probably lean on Providence taking the
01:31 points here. You don't need style points for UConn. You're
01:34 number one in the country. You win in the advance and I do
01:36 like the fact that you did have those four straight losses from
01:38 Providence. Now, you have three straight wins. Come in with a
01:41 little bit of you know what? Let's see if we can take on the
01:43 UConn Huskies in this game.
