00:00 A senator in the Committee on Public Works is targeting the cables or the so-called spaghetti wire in the post offices in the province.
00:10 Senator Raffy Tulfo says that telecommunication companies, internet providers and electricity distributors are the main reasons for this.
00:20 Although Tulfo says that they are getting a permit for the installation of cables, it seems that they just let the cables hang, especially since there are no active regulators.
00:32 The senator also says that there is a big risk to the safety of the public, the cables hanging, because it can cause fire, damage to the property and become a traffic jam.
00:45 Aside from that, it can also cause eye pain or it's not good to look at.
00:50 Tulfo also said that this can be prevented especially since there are local government units that started cleaning these cables.
