00:05 They showed some fight.
00:07 You know, they showed what they're about.
00:10 But Georgia was obviously much more ready to go
00:13 to start the game.
00:15 Coach White's done a great job in his second year here,
00:17 turning around, the fans are great.
00:20 This place did not sound like this, look like this,
00:23 anything until this year.
00:25 So, it's a much improved program.
00:27 They probably should have beat Tennessee here.
00:29 They beat South Carolina.
00:31 They're a good team that's gonna win a lot of games.
00:34 They came out of the gate ready to play, we did not.
00:36 I thought we missed some shots,
00:37 affected how we played offense.
00:40 I thought we got away from what made us good.
00:42 They killed us on the glass.
00:44 I didn't think we played hard enough.
00:46 They played a lot harder than us.
00:47 Came out in the second half,
00:49 and we fixed a lot of what was wrong in the first half.
00:52 And then, you know, it took a little while to go on it.
00:56 There was a timeout, 10 minutes and some change to go.
01:00 You know, and somebody in the hall was saying,
01:02 "We can win this game."
01:04 I said, "No, stop, we are going to win this game.
01:07 "There's no we can, we're winning this game.
01:09 "And here's how we're gonna do it.
01:10 "We've gotta get stops.
01:13 "We gotta rebound the ball better."
01:14 At one point, we were down 31-9 on the boards.
01:18 From that point, we were 17-8 on the glass.
01:21 They didn't score a field goal from that timeout at 10-08
01:25 until four and a half minutes to go in the game.
01:27 So we came out of the timeout, got stops, rebounded it,
01:32 did enough on offense.
01:33 I thought we played hard enough.
01:34 We turned them over 19 times to counteract the fact
01:38 that we did not rebound the ball very well at all.
01:41 You know, our field goal percentage in the second half
01:43 was a lot better, but we were playing off some turnovers
01:46 and getting out of transition like we like to do.
01:49 And then I was at Sears, I don't know,
01:51 we had about six points with six minutes to go in the game.
01:53 So I ended up with 23.
01:56 I mean, he competed, he won our blue collar hat
02:00 with the blue collar points, the hard hat deal.
02:03 He played hard.
02:04 He did not want us to lose this game.
02:06 But a lot of guys didn't.
02:08 I mean, Grant Nelson, so he's got some toughness to him,
02:13 some mental toughness.
02:14 You know, he's struggled to shoot the ball.
02:16 He's been shooting 40% from three in practice.
02:20 We trust him to make shots.
02:22 Done a good job not taking too many,
02:24 but taking appropriate ones.
02:25 And those two he hit late in the game were huge.
02:27 I mean, they sealed the game for us.
02:29 So, you know, he showed he's a winner.
02:33 He showed the moment.
02:35 Doesn't get too big for him.
02:36 He didn't shy away from it.
02:37 We got a lot of guys that I thought played hard.
02:40 So it's a big win if you're gonna try to win a conference.
