00:00 I want to make it clear that every issue, every large project, every small project,
00:06 every policy decision, whenever we take it and go to the Cabinet for approval,
00:12 the first question that comes to the Prime Minister is,
00:15 how will this affect jobs?
00:19 How many new jobs will be created from this?
00:22 How much direct and how much indirect?
00:24 The Cabinet note is delivered to the Cabinet only after a clear preparation.
00:30 That is a filter that needs to be passed.
00:32 Yes.
00:32 What will be the effect of every money that is coming in the investment on jobs,
00:36 on new job creation, on direct and indirect job creation?
00:42 These three criteria are used.
00:46 That is one issue.
00:47 Second, jobs means employment in somebody else's office,
00:53 be it the government or private sector,
00:56 there is a way to go and get a job.
01:02 That is also really good.
01:04 But if you have the capacity,
01:08 if you try to run your own business,
01:11 we are helping you in that too.
01:13 Whether it is small, very small or medium size,
01:17 when there are so many policies and schemes to give them collateral loans,
01:26 they create their own jobs.
01:30 And when they create, they give jobs to some people.
01:34 That is why when we are encouraging this,
01:39 the calculation of your employment,
01:44 the number of people who got help from the bank to run their own business,
01:49 and the help that they did not even need to give collateral,
01:54 all of this should be included in the calculation.
01:57 I want to keep this in front of you.
