00:24 Hamas said on Friday it will respond quickly to a proposal for extended pauses in the fighting in Gaza and phased exchanges of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
00:34 But crucially the proposal does not include a permanent ceasefire.
00:38 Israeli leaders have said they'll keep on fighting until Hamas is eradicated.
00:43 More than 27,000 Gazans have been killed and over 66,000 wounded according to the health ministry.
