Junior doctors across Wales are set to take further industrial action after 3 days of strikes in January. Thousands of doctors could walk out for three days from 21st February and 4 days from 25th March in a dispute over pay, with British Medical Association committee members saying pay has been cut by a third over the last decade.

Yellow weather warnings for snow will be in place across all of North Wales and much of mid Wales with travel likely to be disrupted. The warning is in place between 6am on Thursday and 6am on Friday, with the met office saying there could be mass power cuts, with as much as 20cm of snow on higher ground.

Gwent’s police’s chief constable Pam Kelly has formally apologised to the LGBT+ community for past discriminatory law enforcement and damaging their trust in the police. Gwent Police became the 10th in the UK to apologise and the first in Wales, and say they want to help build trust and confidence.
