00:02 Jalen Tyson's Cal teammates and coaches have been talking about his NBA potential
00:07 most of this season.
00:08 And certainly Tyson's had a terrific year for the Bears.
00:12 Playing out of position at point guard essentially,
00:15 he has come through on a regular basis for Cal.
00:18 He's getting his teammates involved more now.
00:21 He's certainly a terrific scorer.
00:23 He's got good size at 6'7", so he checks a lot of boxes.
00:29 With NBA scouts, I'm sure he's not a finished product.
00:33 I'm sure they can pick apart his game.
00:35 But he's a guy who looks like he might be able to play professional basketball and
00:40 perhaps in the NBA.
00:42 Bronny James, only a freshman, gets an awful lot of attention,
00:46 most of it because of his father.
00:48 That's understandable.
00:50 But it also puts a really sort of an unfair burden on the kid.
00:54 He is just a freshman.
00:55 He's playing fine.
00:57 He's okay.
00:57 He has a nice game, it looks like.
01:00 But he's not his dad.
01:01 He's not spectacular.
01:03 His game needs a lot of development.
01:05 He's just not there yet.
01:07 But whether he'll be sort of pressured into entering the draft because of a desire
01:12 by both him and his father to play together in the NBA, we don't know that.
01:17 If he were any other player doing what he's doing, people would say,
01:21 hey, he's a nice freshman.
01:22 He's got some potential.
01:24 But instead, people put him on the fast track and
01:27 are disappointed when he's not his father, which is virtually impossible.
