00:00 So it's very interesting. This is National Signing Day and the fact that lightbulb kind of went up yesterday
00:06 that National Signing Day was coming up and there's just been no fanfare for it and
00:11 part of that is because of the transfer portal name amount of success that Ole Miss had
00:16 Part of it is the fact that Ole Miss is recruiting class was basically wrapped up in December in the early signing day period
00:24 But there is a couple of players that could sign
00:28 Today as well one of which is Janoris Hopson. He is a wide receiver out of Northwest Community College
00:34 He is the brother of Jarkoby Hopson the four-star linebacker out of Lake Cormorant
00:39 Janoris is a wide receiver. If you look at his highlights very good hands catches the ball very well
00:45 He catches the ball through contact very well
00:48 More of a stocky or wide receiver is listed at 5'9" 190. He might be over 200 pounds though
00:56 he looks pretty thick out there at the wide receiver position and
00:59 You see that and you wonder where he's going to fit
01:04 he might be more of a fit in the slot area in the middle of the field and
01:08 Whenever this recruitment happened, I thought hey
01:12 This is obviously a calf and a cow type situation
01:16 They used to do that in recruiting all the time to where you take another player
01:20 So you would have better odds to get this player
01:23 Ole Miss famously did that with Laramie Tunsil where they took two players to get three players including Laramie Tunsil and
01:30 You everybody you look at Janoris Hopson, you know his family background
01:35 You know how much Ole Miss wants his brother and it makes you wonder exactly if they were doing that again here
01:42 But if you look at his video, he is warranted of a college spot. He was a walk-on
01:48 I believe at Mississippi State he ended up on scholarship at Northwest Community College
01:52 And I think he's going to be on scholarship at Ole Miss a really good football player as well
