00:14 Last week, a flood and landslide occurred in Davao Region.
00:19 Next, a heavy rainfall there.
00:22 The shear line and trough of the low-pressure area fell.
00:25 State of calamity in some towns and 23 barangays in Davao City.
00:29 President Baubang Marcos is asking for a billion pesos for the flood and landslides in Mindanao.
00:35 Although the flood and landslides are not yet settled, the amount is still high.
00:39 Some barangays are not yet reached because the roads and roads are damaged.
00:43 There are roads that can be passed but it will take 4 to 5 hours to reach the sites.
00:52 Our relief goods are made in a way that when the water level is high, we make a raft.
01:03 But when the water level is high, we pull the PC of our rescue workers.
01:08 Air Acess is also used by the military and police to send relief goods and hygiene kits to affected residents.
01:15 The President's order to the DPWH is to quickly compensate for the damaged roads and roads.
01:21 He is also asking for help to the thousands of families who were evacuated.
01:25 I'm a little concerned about those evacuation centers that were flooded.
01:35 We have to do something extra for them.
01:39 But it's hard to find.
01:42 We will put it in our place.
01:45 But at least, at the very least, they will receive assistance.
01:51 The money was also issued by the President's office, which was personally received by the President and local governments.
01:57 It gets to the point that they don't have food.
02:01 They don't have food that they need.
02:03 They need to buy other things.
02:06 That's why I released the Php 265 million to make sure that the phase of the response is immediate and people will feel it immediately.
02:20 In the situation briefing to the President, the Defense Secretary said that communities need new discarding, new plans and relocation.
02:27 The areas that were inundated and the infrastructures there should not be there anymore
02:35 because they will continue to be affected by landslides and flooding.
02:39 So it will also need relocation of communities.
02:43 For more information on ways and infrastructure to cope with the changing climate,
