Simone Ashley has certainly been busy lately. We caught up with the British actress while she was promoting her recent animated film, 10 Lives , at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The Bridgerton star gave us the scoop on season 3 of the Netflix period drama dropping May 16. She also told us about her latest project, This Tempting Madness , a psychological thriller inspired by a true story. "I am so nervous and excited for that to come out this year," she confessed. 00:02 - We have "Bridgerton" season three coming out this year,
00:10 in the spring, which I'm super excited for.
00:12 They've killed it and they are leading it
00:15 with just such force and I'm so excited to see it.
00:17 I haven't seen all of it, I haven't been able
00:19 to see every single bit that they've done.
00:20 Obviously, I wasn't there all the time
00:22 seeing them do their thing,
00:24 so I'm super excited to see that.
00:26 So I play Rose in "Ten Lives"
00:28 and we were all on our own in the booth,
00:30 so we were really forced and challenged
00:32 to use our imaginations, really imagine the world around us
00:34 and imagine we're talking to this animal.
00:36 That was a really fun challenge.
00:38 I've got a movie called "The Tempting Madness"
00:40 that we've just had the first look for just a few weeks ago.
00:44 It's so different to anything I've ever done.
00:46 It is a psychological thriller,
00:48 so it's the first time I've ever done anything like that.
00:51 A very profound subject,
00:52 contrasting to movies like this and "Bridgerton."
00:55 That one took a lot of preparation.
00:56 I'm so nervous and so excited for that to come out this year.
