00:00 So when you have underrepresented fan groups, and it might be a South Asian underrepresented fan group,
00:06 for example like Bangla Bandham's at Bradford City, and I think when you have
00:10 underrepresented fan groups, why people need to band together to go to a game and then to
00:18 go under the banner of, you know, a group of people. I think if we go back historically, and I do a lot
00:25 of this in my sessions, I think if us as white heterosexual male football fans had been
00:36 more welcoming historically and less discriminatory, I think there wouldn't be a need for those fan
00:41 groups. But I think what I've started to see recently is that there are more women-only
00:50 fan groups going to watch and setting themselves up to go and watch men's football. And I think
00:57 that's concerning because personally I just go with my sister, so me and my sister, we go,
01:03 she's always gone, she loves football. My niece started going to watch Newcastle United as well,
01:08 so you know, we go. But I almost think like, why is that happening? And for me that's like,
01:17 when I talk to women fan groups, fan groups, you know, set up by women of to watch men's football,
01:23 it's very much because they didn't feel safe. Things, incidents might have happened on trains,
01:29 incidents might have happened inside stadiums, so they've almost felt like a need to have to band
01:35 together as women to go watch men's football. And surely as men, that, you know, generally as men,
01:44 you know, if I'm representing males, then surely we have to be, we have to be sad about that,
01:50 we have to be concerned about that, that we're not making the environment welcome enough for women
01:57 to just be able to go at the match without being verbally abused or grabbed or touched up or,
02:04 you know, let's call it what it is, sexually assaulted, you know what I mean? Essentially,
02:07 surely as blokes we have to take a look at ourselves and just change our behaviour.
