00:00 >> Yeah.
00:01 >> Well, how's your first year gone?
00:02 I know you're one of those guys that's in, all you freshman linemen that come in
00:06 have to go through development with the size and the strength and all that.
00:09 But tell me how it's gone for you.
00:10 >> It's been great.
00:11 I've seen a lot of improvement since I got here.
00:13 So I think overall, in the span of three months since I've been here,
00:18 it's been very, I've had a lot of experience with this,
00:23 improving and getting in the weight room again.
00:27 Learning more things every single day is something I look forward to.
00:32 So I definitely improved from that, for sure.
00:34 >> How big are you now?
00:35 >> I'm still, I'm almost 6'8" now, so I'm 6'7", three quarters.
00:39 >> Wow, and how much you weigh?
00:41 >> I weigh 295.
00:43 >> Wow. >> Yeah.
00:44 >> Where do they want you to top out at if they know?
00:47 >> Right now, I think they want me to go 310, 320 at least, yeah.
00:52 >> Well, there's gonna be some line positions open up when this is all over
00:55 this season.
00:56 So you're probably thinking about that, that you guys all have a chance to move up.
01:00 >> Yeah, I think everybody, every single day, they wanna strive for that.
01:03 And every single day, just in our room,
01:06 in our line room, we always wanna be the best of the best, so yeah.
01:10 >> Now you came to Washington to succeed, obviously, but
01:13 I don't think you probably envisioned being in the college football playoff
01:16 the first year, or did you?
01:18 I mean- >> They told me about the plan on my
01:21 recruiting trip, about they wanted to change the championship match and
01:25 become a national champion.
01:27 And then with that goal in the school, I wanted to be a national champion,
01:32 and that's all I wanted.
01:34 I searched for it to be that champion every single day, so that's what I go for.
01:40 >> Yeah, so you're pretty happy with the way things are for you?
01:42 >> Yeah.
01:43 >> It's a good choice coming to Washington?
01:45 >> I don't regret my decision at all.
01:47 I'll do it over and over again.
01:50 >> Yeah.
