00:00 Hey everybody, I'm here with Rafael and his sister Serafina, and along with you all, these two are truly the stars of this Kickstarter campaign, as they were the characters and the co-directors in the launch video.
00:14 And we're celebrating here over some yummy hay the fact that we just blew past our $300,000 minimum target on Kickstarter, and we plan to keep going.
00:23 But before I explain how we're going to keep going, I wanted to take a moment to share Rafael and Serafina's backstory with you.
00:29 We knew we needed a showstopper for our launch video, and we looked around every animal sanctuary for a baby lamb and we couldn't find one.
00:36 But every sanctuary said that they'd happily look after a rescued lamb if we could find one.
00:41 So we found a halal farm that was selling hundreds of lambs for ritual sacrifice, and Rafael and Serafina were both abandoned because their mother was sold off for sacrifice.
00:53 They were just days old. So we were able to rescue not one, but two lambs. We put them in Mirror the Miracle van, drove them across the city to First Love Always Sanctuary, and eventually here to Kindred Spirits Care Farm, where they found their forever home.
01:07 And this is the first time I'm seeing them since we shot the video, and it's so great seeing them. They've grown so much.
01:13 And similarly, we want to keep growing our Kickstarter campaign. We're not going to stop at $300,000. We've got a new stretch goal of $500,000.
01:23 Whereas our first goal was going to allow us to translate the film with subtitles, now we can actually fully dub the film in five-plus languages.
01:31 Whereas our first goal was going to allow a limited theater run, now we're going to stretch to get this into theaters worldwide.
01:37 We're going to upgrade the animations. We're going to have more reach with our PR and our marketing strategy.
01:42 Just so you know, most blockbuster films have $50 million marketing budgets just starting out.
01:48 So with our $500,000 humble budget, I feel with a lot of heart and soul, we can truly together make massive impact with this film, ultimately leading to more lives being saved like Serafina and Raphael.
02:01 So please, if you can, continue to support and share this film, and let's take this thing to the next level.
02:08 Blessings.
