00:07 Hello, miners, and welcome to "Deep Rock Galactic Survivor."
00:12 In this roguelike auto-shooter, we're
00:14 exploring the universe of "Deep Rock Galactic"
00:17 from a whole new perspective.
00:18 Yeah, yeah, rock and stone.
00:20 Unlike the original game, this spin-off is a solo experience.
00:24 But at its core, it's still a game about mining
00:26 minerals and blasting bugs.
00:29 In each run of "Deep Rock Galactic Survivor,"
00:31 you're sent down on a mission to eliminate
00:33 the mighty Glyphid Dreadnought, taking you
00:35 through five levels of alien caves filled
00:38 with valuable minerals and the endless hordes of enemies.
00:42 The four dwarf classes from "Deep Rock Galactic"
00:45 are making their return as playable characters.
00:48 And this time, each one has three subclasses,
00:51 which explore different aspects of the character.
00:54 The Scout focuses on mobility, agility,
00:58 and scoring critical damage.
01:00 He's light on his feet and better
01:01 able to dodge enemy attacks than any other class.
01:05 His trusty M1000 rifle makes short work
01:07 of high-value targets, while weapons
01:09 like the Voltaic Stun Sweeper or the new Bug Taser
01:13 offer plenty of choices for an electrical build.
01:17 The Engineer is the master of high-tech automated violence.
01:21 Fast-firing sentry guns, flamethrower turrets,
01:24 and shredder drones do the dirty work for you.
01:27 If that's not enough, you've got plenty of explosive
01:30 and plasma weaponry to finish the job.
01:33 Pick the right overclocks, and you can even
01:35 make your turrets go mobile.
01:38 The Gunner brings the heavy weapons
01:40 and can start with the highest health.
01:42 Weaponry like the Thunderhead Heavy Autocannon,
01:45 Let's Storm Minigun, and Hurricane Rocket System
01:48 give you overwhelming firepower and more capability
01:51 to direct your shots where they're needed most.
01:55 The Driller goes through stone like butter
01:58 and packs an arsenal of elemental weapons.
02:01 His powerful drill gauntlets let him mine minerals and dig
02:04 through terrain faster than anyone else.
02:07 And his arsenal of incendiary, corrosive, and cryo weaponry
02:11 give him unparalleled potential for dishing out
02:14 elemental damage.
02:16 Every single weapon can be upgraded
02:18 with three powerful overclocks at once.
02:21 This can dramatically change the weapon's behavior
02:24 and give you tremendous advantage in combat.
02:27 During each mission, you'll need to gain experience
02:29 by gathering minerals, killing bugs,
02:32 and completing objectives so you can upgrade
02:34 your arsenal to the max.
02:37 On your way to the Dreadnought, you
02:38 will fight your way through three different biomes--
02:41 Crystalline Caverns, Magma Core, and Hollow Bough.
02:46 Each of these environments come with their own distinctive
02:48 hazards.
02:49 In order to survive, you'll have to master
02:51 each biome's unique landscape.
02:53 So sharpen your pickaxe, check your equipment, and load up.
02:57 The mines of Hoxhaes await you, and so do
03:00 a billion angry alien bugs.
03:03 This is Mission Control signing off.
03:05 Rock and stone.
