00:06 Holly Marie Combs is now taking to Instagram to speak her mind amid the recent back and forth between herself and her former co-stars.
00:15 In case you missed it, on a recent podcast, Holly and Shannon Doherty opened up about their Charmed days,
00:22 with Holly alleging that Alyssa Milano once gave producers an ultimatum.
00:28 To pick between her or Shannon.
00:30 Of course, as fans know, Alyssa, Shannon and Holly all starred together on the hit show before Shannon departed in 2001.
00:38 In response to Holly's claims, Alyssa fired back during a recent appearance, responding in part, quote, "I did not have the power to get anyone fired."
00:48 Now, Holly is addressing that, writing on Instagram, in part, on February 6th,
00:53 "I feel the need to defend myself after the many continuing attacks that have ensued since Alyssa stepped out on stage and essentially called Shannon and I liars."
01:03 She continues, "This is just the history she didn't want people to know about, and the history Shannon wasn't ready to talk about until one month ago."
01:13 She adds, "I heard that Alyssa said she did not have the power to fire anyone, which is ironic because this was actually all about power."
01:22 She continues, "She had the power to stop the process at any time."
01:27 And when the producers said, "Okay, we will let Shannon go," Alyssa also had the power to say, "No, I don't want that."

01:35 E! News has reached out to a rep for Alyssa in response, but has not yet heard back.
01:41 Rose McGowan, who replaced Shannon on the show, even enters the chat, commenting on Holly's post, in part,
01:47 "Sometimes a mess has to be made for things to be cleaned up.
01:51 This for me is way bigger than a TV show.
01:54 It goes to years of continuous behind-the-scenes character assassination and targeted reputation smearing because of narcissistic, pathological jealousy."
02:05 During a recent episode of Shannon's podcast, "Let's Be Clear," both the actress and Holly swapped stories of what they say happened on set at the time with Alyssa,
02:14 reflecting on the moment a producer told Holly about the alleged ultimatum.
02:19 "And he said, 'But we've been backed into this corner.' He said, 'You know, we're basically in a position where it's one or the other.
02:26 We were told that it's her or me, and Alyssa has threatened to sue us for a hostile workplace environment.'"
02:34 In her response to the initial claims, Alyssa said an on-set mediator was brought on to assess the situation.
02:40 She shared, "It was then recommended by this mediator what changes should be made if the show was going to continue."
02:48 The studio, Aaron Spelling, and network made the decision to protect the international hit that was charmed.
02:54 She added, "Once Shannon left, we had five more successful seasons, and I am forever grateful."
