00:00 [In Tagalog] Good afternoon to all of us. Here is the weather update for Thursday, February 15, 2024.
00:08 We still don't have any low-pressure areas or typhoons inside and outside of our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:15 But we have two weather systems that are affecting our country.
00:19 First is the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amihan.
00:23 This is a part of Humina and is continuing to spread here in the extreme northern Luzon.
00:28 Because of this, here in Batanes and Babuyan Islands, we expect that they will experience a storm
00:34 until it rains heavily with heavy rain.
00:38 Meanwhile, our Easterlies or the hot winds coming from the Pacific Ocean
00:43 are blowing here in the eastern section of our country.
00:47 So if we can see, there are clusters of storms here in the eastern section of the southern Luzon and here in Visayas.
00:54 Because of this, we expect that...
00:57 Let's move on to the weather of our country tomorrow.
01:00 This Northeast Monsoon will be strong and this is what will affect the northern Luzon.
01:06 But because of this, Metro Manila and the other parts of the country, we still expect that the weather will be clear or hot.
01:14 Because of this, we expect the temperature here in Metro Manila to be between 23 to 32 degrees Celsius,
01:21 Lauag 21 to 31, and Baguio 14 to 24 degrees Celsius.
01:25 For Tuguegarao, 22 to 32 degrees Celsius, Tagaytay 21 to 30, and Legazpi 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.
01:33 If we can see the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao, they will experience a heavy storm
01:41 with heavy rain, this is still the end of the Easterlies.
01:45 Meanwhile, for Palawan, the other parts of Visayas and Mindanao, their weather will be clear
01:53 and there are still chances of localized thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and night.
01:58 For Palawan, their temperature is between 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:03 For Iloilo and Tacloban, we expect 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, Cebu 25 to 31, Zamboanga 23 to 34,
02:12 Caguiende Oro 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, and Dabao 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:19 We have not seen any gale warnings in any seaboards of our country.
02:23 Let's go back to our time in the next 3 days in the neighboring cities of our country.
02:29 If we can see, Baguio will be affected by the Northeast Monsoon, so they will still experience a storm.
02:36 Until the afternoon, we can see a light rain.
02:40 For Metro Manila and Legazpi, we expect our weekend, including Monday, to be a clear time.
02:48 For Metro Manila, their temperature will be between 23 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:53 Baguio, 13 to 24, Legazpi, 23 to 30 degrees Celsius.
02:58 For the whole of Visayas, we expect their weather to be clear.
03:04 For Metro Cebu, the temperature will be between 24 to 31 degrees Celsius, Iloilo 24 to 31, and Tacloban 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:15 For Metro Dabao, we expect Saturday and Sunday, or weekend, to be cloudy with scattered rain.
03:24 This is still the end of the Easter list.
03:26 But if we can see, by Monday, their weather will be improving, and they will experience a clear time, like here in Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga City.
03:36 For Metro Dabao, the temperature will be between 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:41 Cagayan de Oro, 24 to 31, and Zamboanga, 23 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:47 The sunset will be at 6pm, and the sunrise tomorrow will be at 6.20am.
