00:00 Yeah, well, there was a report this week, wasn't there, from overseas, from Italy, referenced
00:07 Torino, didn't it, I believe. Now, I think, did we touch on it the other night in the
00:12 previous late-night podcast of this week? I think we did. It gave it very little substance
00:16 there and then, look, the quoted outlet was from a reputable Italian outlet. So, I'm not
00:22 going to dismiss that outlet, but there's absolutely nothing in that report. Absolute
00:28 nonsense. The club know that Carlos Corbijn is the best football asset that there is there
00:33 at the moment. I think they'd agree with me and us and those listening that he's destined
00:37 for big things. And I know from early conversations I've had with those connected that Shilin
00:44 Patel and his father and the group Bilkom are huge supporters and admirers of Carlos
00:49 Corbijn, which I know, as you shared, is a massive thing, really, because that report
00:54 will have sparked fears. When you see overseas news, you kind of think, well, maybe no smoke
01:01 without fire. Where's that emerged from? We remember St Andrews and Eustace and Rooney
01:06 and their American owners. But I'm told, I'm informed, no substance there, massive
01:14 supporters of the head coach. And how couldn't they be? I mean, really, they'll know what
01:18 he's been doing. The phenomenal job he's done in 16 months, taking it from one end
01:23 of this division to near the top of the other. So, yeah, very much behind them, ready to
01:30 start supporting him. I was down at the training ground myself, what, 12 hours or so ago, speaking
01:39 to Carlos Corbijn about Southampton. And yeah, I'm very excited to be asking him about this,
01:47 really, because I think he'll be, he won't show it, Carlos Corbijn, but I think inwardly
01:53 he'll be excited and very optimistic about what it means. Obviously, he'll have known
01:58 about this for a while. Let's be clear, this won't be breaking news to Carlos Corbijn today.
02:03 He'll have known this was happening. I dare say he'll have had conversations with advisors
02:08 of the Patels and, you know, plans, his plans from a football perspective. They'll already
02:13 be aligned. And him having the chance to speak on it publicly, I imagine, will bring some
02:19 nice quotes, I would have thought, from after the game tomorrow. So, look, Carlos Corbijn's
02:25 prior focus, don't get me wrong, will be three points tomorrow and he'll have game face on.
02:32 No question about that. When Sky wheel him out for a pre-match interview tomorrow, it
02:36 will be, you know, there'll be ownership questions, but Carlos will be football, football, football.
02:42 And I dare say we might get that post-match. But I think it's fair to say the result tomorrow
02:46 night, big game, massive game, isn't it? But the result is secondary tomorrow night, really,
02:50 to what we've learned tonight. Obviously, the new chairman to be, will be in the stand
02:55 and just hopefully a positive feel of a bit of lift off around the place that hopefully
03:01 we'll begin to feel tomorrow night.
