44-year-old Logan charged with murder over wife’s death
Queensland police have charged a man with the murder of his wife at a rural property in Woodhill south of Brisbane. Yadwinder Singh made a brief appearance in court today.

00:00 Well, emergency services responded to a property, a rural property in Woodhill on Undala Road
00:07 yesterday morning just after half past nine.
00:10 We've heard from Queensland Ambulance Service who say that first responders were quite confronted
00:14 by the scene.
00:15 A 41-year-old woman was discovered with significant injuries in relation to a farm machinery incident.
00:22 Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
00:26 Police did arrest a 44-year-old man on the property who was initially assisting with
00:30 inquiries.
00:31 He was later charged with one count of murder as well as one count of tampering with a corpse.
00:38 Now his matter was heard before Bingley Magistrates Court earlier today.
00:42 He has been reminded in custody and is expected to appear later in June.
00:47 Now we've heard from police a little earlier who also say that a number of vehicles have
00:52 been seized from the crime scene.
00:54 Within the crime scene, we've removed currently, there will be more to go, but we've currently
00:58 removed two vehicles.
00:59 One is a sedan and a second vehicle which is a farm tractor and slasher.
01:04 Over the coming days, the rural property is expected to remain a crime scene as forensic
01:09 officers continue their investigations.
01:12 We've also heard police divers are expected to attend the property and search a number
01:17 of dams as investigations do continue.
