00:00 A huge fish was caught in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
00:06 It weighed 10 tons according to a barangay official.
00:10 Out of the huge amount, four boats were full.
00:14 They were only able to catch that many this Amihan season.
00:18 This was on Wednesday when more than 2 tons of fish were caught in the same town.
00:24 Another oarfish was killed after it was found in the sea in Albuera, Leyte.
00:30 When the authorities examined it, they found many wounds.
00:34 The oarfish was 12.5 feet long and weighed 13 kilos.
00:39 According to BIFAR, there was a possible environmental disturbance under the sea
00:44 which caused the fish to sink to the shallow part of the sea.
00:47 This is not an indication of a deluge like what others believe.
00:54 After a day of hard work, it's time to give attention to those who are sick or broken-hearted.
01:00 That's why Heartbreak Leave was proposed by the House of Representatives for those who came from the breakup.
01:05 If House Bill 9931 or Heartbreak Recovery and Resilience Act is in effect,
01:11 those who are broken-hearted can ask for unpaid leave.
01:14 According to the proposal of Second District Representative Lord Danzuan,
01:19 if below 25 years old, one day unpaid leave.
01:23 Two days for those aged 25 to 35 years old, three days for those aged 36 and above.
01:29 The older, the longer the leave.
01:32 Because the issues in family, money, and other things are more complicated.
01:36 To avail Heartbreak Leave,
01:38 a letter must be made proving that you came from a heartbreak or a breakup within 30 days.
01:46 Representative Suan added that if Heartbreak Leave is to be given,
01:50 single employees should be allowed to take a single well-being leave every February 15.
01:58 This is to relieve the stress of the pressure of Valentine's Day celebration.
02:03 Filipinos are among the fourth in the largest spending in Asia to watch a concert according to one study.
02:12 Others are abroad. Vonna Kino has a report.
02:16 Crying and crying in the concert scene.
02:22 And to be able to go to such events, a fulfilled dream.
02:27 I am so happy that I made my own hard work to attend her concert.
02:36 Swiftie Blesa sold Taylor Swift merch to attend The Era Store in Japan.
02:42 Within six months, she saved up to Php 120,000.
02:47 I also thought that the money will come back.
02:50 But the memory that I will build on that trip, it is priceless.
02:55 The price of the VIP ticket she bought is Php 22,000.
02:59 She also spent her OOTD on a concert worth Php 5,000.
03:04 But because she is abroad, she also paid for it and went on a Japan tour.
03:09 Blesa is one of the 37% of Filipinos who traveled abroad to watch a concert.
03:19 In the survey of Digital Payment Solution,
03:22 the Philippines is the fourth in the top spender in concerts in the Asia-Pacific region.
03:27 38% of Filipinos surveyed watched concerts locally or overseas last year.
03:33 India was the first with 45%.
03:36 Vietnam was the second with 41% and Indonesia with 40%.
03:40 Another Swiftie, Tinliwanag, adjusted her vacation.
03:44 She was supposed to fly to Japan with her family on February 14.
03:48 But she was already ahead for the concert on February 10.
03:51 It's fulfilling because there are a lot of people who would want to go to her concert to watch her.
03:59 And then here I am in Japan, my sister won a ticket.
04:04 It's really meant to be.
04:06 According to the study, this trend will continue this year,
04:09 especially with the announcement of concert schedules by artists.
04:13 Aside from concerts, it seems that Filipinos have also become routine
04:16 to wait for fan meets of some K-pop idols.
04:19 A sociologist looked at the likes of some Filipino fans
04:23 who attend concerts or meet and greet as a way
04:26 to show their full support to their idols.
04:30 That willingness to consume, that willingness to spend money,
04:35 shows that they will watch are valuable.
04:42 And for them, it's worth the price.
04:46 Von Aquino reporting for GMA Integrated News.
