00:00 We're really excited. It's been
00:02 Getting this opportunity given to us. You know, if somebody offers you this opportunity, don't turn it down
00:06 Like we were so excited. We had been closed for four years
00:09 It's been a long process
00:12 so we were hoping to open actually the middle of December and
00:15 With the storms, the refurb got pushed back and pushed back and it's been like we felt like we were going over hill after hill after hill
00:21 So finally seeing people coming in the pubs was absolutely amazing. We really like the idea of the community around here
00:28 Everyone's been so welcoming and we've had lots of faces come through the door
00:31 I've just felt like this is probably a better fit for us even than where we were beforehand
00:55 Well, we moved up here 20 years ago my wife and Stephen
01:00 And the pub was very very popular. Unfortunately, my wife just passed away, but I had the pub reopen again
01:06 It's it's a boom and a village shop as well. But all the people here are involved with
01:11 I think it's getting Lesby back to how it used to be a thriving little community
01:16 I keep thinking about Slim Dusty, that Slim Dusty recording
01:21 Australian the pub's got no beer. Well, the pub's got no pub
01:24 It's been closed and it's part of our little village here and we're proud of it
01:28 we came to see and if there's anyone turned up and neither would people have to support it and
01:34 This pub's got beer, but it's got wine as well. And I like their plans for the future
01:40 We're just we're just so overcome because we've got our pub back
01:44 You've no idea when you work hard during the week
01:47 We need to get here and have something somewhere to relax. This is it. Long live the coaching
01:53 It's been really good
01:57 I think the village has been crying out for getting their pub back and I think they're all going to be really relieved now
02:04 It's back. We are just operating on a wet lead only initially
02:08 But after that once we get the kitchen up and running, I think it'll be an absolute goldmine
02:13 It's bringing it back and it's bringing
02:16 it's bringing the village pub back to the village and
02:19 The feedback I've had from the locals so far has been very positive
