00:46 We'll have more new music throughout the show, but first, let's get into our top story.
00:51 The first Monday in May is almost here and we know some famous faces we'll definitely be seeing at this year's Met Gala.
00:58 Zendaya, straight up, straight up.
01:01 Zendaya has been named one of the year's co-chairs of the 2024 Met Gala.
01:05 She's no stranger to walking those famous stairs.
01:08 And with her recent Dune Part II red carpet show still, there's no surprise she's top of the list.
01:14 Bad Bunny is also one of this year's co-chairs.
01:16 He's always the talk of the town when he attends the Gala.
01:19 This year it's in honor of the exhibit Sleeping Beauty's Reawakening Fashion.
01:24 While the exhibit sounds Disney, it actually refers to clothing so fragile it can never be worn again.
01:31 Thus, sleeping in the archives.
01:33 Another Met Gala staple, Jennifer Lopez, is our final musical co-chair.
01:37 Fellow actor Chris Hemsworth rounds out the Fantastic Four co-chairs with his first ever Met Gala appearance.
01:43 We can't wait to see how they adhere to this year's dress code, the Garden of Time.
01:48 Some other artists we'd love to see at the Met Gala, Beyonce of course.
01:52 Nicki Minaj and Cardi B always blow us away with their looks.
01:55 The girls of Blackpink always shine. Maybe we can get some more K-pop artists.
02:00 Plus, Ariana Grande, Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift will all be coming off of album releases.
02:06 And we'd love to see what kind of fashion they bring.
02:09 While global warming may be making you wonder if we're in summer or winter, one thing is for sure.
02:14 For Dua Lipa, it's training season.

04:04 And after enjoying the movie, guests headed over to the Hollywood Roosevelt for the after party

04:13 There were photo ops, we had to get involved, and also food like the oysters that were mentioned in the movie,

04:56 Can't get enough.
04:59 Speaking of Jennifer Lopez, my girl Rania got to hang out and talk to J-Lo about her new and possibly last album.
05:06 So how was that?
05:07 I mean how crazy is it that we both got to be in the presence of Jennifer Lopez this week?
05:12 Stop it!
05:13 It's insane. And I mean she is just such a force and you can totally tell when talking to her about this album
05:21 and this movie that she released corresponding with the album,
05:25 she's just so passionate about everything she does, whether that's in her personal life, in her professional life,
05:30 and I think the quality really speaks for itself on this album.
05:33 And with the album, did you guys discuss at all like whether this might be her last piece of work?
05:38 She was pretty coy about it I must say, but she did say that she always goes with her heart.
05:45 So knowing her, I mean even though she might say that this is her last album,
05:50 I could see her feeling inspired in a few years and kind of revving the engine back up again.
05:54 And I mean that film is over the top. It's crazy. There's so much stuff going on.
05:59 Did she talk about how it was to film it?
06:01 Yeah, I mean she was loving every second of it.
06:04 Like she got to bring in all her celebrity friends and she was also just talking about
06:09 how nice it was to kind of put together a representation of her life in a fun metaphorical way,
06:17 which I think is so different than what a lot of artists we've been seeing doing lately
06:21 that are doing the classic biopic or documentary style thing,
06:25 where she wanted to do something a little more creative, a little more metaphorical,
06:28 a little more fairy tale. Something she actually said was,
06:31 "I grew up around fairy tales, Cinderella, Prince Charming."
06:35 And I feel like we really see that come through because it just represents her best.
06:38 And I mean I was at the premiere and to see her talk about Ben was so sweet.
06:43 Did she talk about their relationship at all?
06:46 She sure did because I had to ask her because the film is so astrology based
06:50 and J.Lo and Ben Affleck are both Leos.
06:53 I had to ask her, I was like, "What is it like having two Leos in the home?"
06:58 And she immediately, she was like, "Fiery, passionate, challenging."
07:02 Like she was so, it so describes their relationship.
07:06 And something she said that was really beautiful was,
07:09 even though they've known each other for a long time, they're still getting to know each other.
07:14 And so it feels like she's falling in love with the same person all over again.
07:18 And it might even feel like a different person this time.
07:20 Wow. Goals to be J.Lo.
07:22 But my question is, Rania, are me and you going to the tour?

08:20 I think the overall concept of the album is the way we communicate.
08:23 Obviously, nowadays we call, we text.
08:27 It's also like in life, the different ways.

08:41 Or things you wanted to say but didn't say.

08:46 I've been singing and writing love songs for a long time.
08:51 I think this was the first time I felt like I was living my songs from the present and my songs from the past.
09:00 The hard part wasn't writing it, the hard part wasn't telling it.
09:05 It was like, if I want to tell it and people listen to it.
09:09 I'm a shy person.
09:11 I don't like it when people know that I'm suffering, that I'm crying.
09:15 I like to paint everything pretty on the outside.
09:18 Not to be fake, but nobody wants to see you vulnerable.
09:23 So the decision was, "Should I say this?"
09:26 Or, "I'll put this song. This song is very personal. They're going to think about this."
09:31 But I think that music was a way for me, or for many, to vent.
