00:00 >> Did you think at that time, when you do plays like that,
00:03 they just feel like sort of haymakers?
00:05 Did you think that that would be the difference there?
00:08 >> Yeah, I mean, when stuff like that, and you're on the other side of that,
00:13 I can speak from experience, that stuff is deflating.
00:15 When teams are, especially when you're on the road and teams start making a run and
00:19 they get a couple of high energy plays like that,
00:22 that's kind of like a gut punch sometimes.
00:24 When you think you can possibly make a run and get back in it,
00:27 then the team makes some plays like that, the crowd gets into it.
00:30 Now you've got to call a timeout and it's so loud in the gym.
00:33 Plays like that are not gonna happen all the time, but
00:38 when you can capitalize on the mistakes like that and make those type of plays,
00:43 it's a big boost not for just us, but the whole arena.
00:47 >> Keon, the Washington State loss, I know it was hard, and
00:51 I know being down 20 to Oregon didn't sit well either.
00:54 You guys made a comeback to beat Oregon State, you had a great win tonight.
00:58 We've seen the turning point that maybe that 20 point deficit against Oregon was
01:01 at the turning point when you guys made the comeback.
01:04 >> I'm not gonna say a loss was the turning point, but
01:07 the thing that I was encouraged about and can hang my hat on,
01:12 even though we did lose that game, even with the Washington State game,
01:15 losing that one too, we played extremely, extremely hard.
01:20 We weren't losing those games because of lack of effort.
01:23 It was some situations where we probably weren't the smartest in some instances,
01:28 but you weren't gonna watch the film, okay,
01:31 we didn't play hard enough to win tonight.
01:33 So sometimes the ball didn't bounce our way, we ended up losing those games,
01:37 but we've been continuing to play hard every single play.
01:42 And I think that's what's been the turning point,
01:45 the switch that has been flipped for us is us playing hard.
01:50 And if we play hard, we can make up for other stuff.
01:52 Gotta be a little smarter here and there, but us continually to play hard,
01:56 every possession, every half, it means something.
01:58 That's what's propelling us on going on this run.
