00:00 So I've got with me Sam Maxwell, captain of New Lambton this year. Congratulations on that mate.
00:05 Thanks very much.
00:06 So what's been the big goal for the club this year? Last year was obviously the first year in the comp and a bit of a learning experience for everyone there.
00:13 But what's the big goal this year?
00:15 Yeah, obviously finals footy is always on the cards. It's high expectations for a club that's only the second year in the comp.
00:22 I think we've got the boys and the youth to do it this year. The chemistry in the team has been really great and I think we've got a good solid chance.
00:30 And some big changes there, obviously Shane Price coming in, very experienced coach and got guys like Josh Piddingson coming in.
00:35 But any other big changes for the club?
00:37 I wouldn't say anything too extreme. Like I said before, we've got a lot of youth coming into the team.
00:43 I think that fresh vibe will help us with a lot of energy as long as we can sort of contain it and it's not too youthful.
00:51 But I think guys like Piddo will help a lot with that sort of experience.
00:55 And this is a funny one to finish, but who's been your most annoying team-mate in pre-season so far?
01:01 Who do I throw under the bus? Keepers are always up there, so the new signing Shane.
01:08 I've played with them at Edgy a fair bit, so they're always a very loud vocal voice at the back and as a centre-back, sometimes they can get on your nerves a little bit.
01:17 I bet. Another good experienced player.
01:19 Yeah, absolutely.
01:20 Well thanks Sam, all the best for the season.
