00:00 So I'm here with Niklas Olympic captain Marcus Duncan, back again as captain again mate.
00:05 So what have been some of the goals for you guys this year?
00:08 I mean there's been discussions with the new coaches about what sort of goals that you
00:13 set yourselves?
00:14 Yeah, I mean we think it's a realistic target to be pushing for the premiership.
00:18 It's been a bit of a lean run for the club, it seems to be part of a bit of silverware
00:22 so that's certainly the goal for this year is to push for the top spot.
00:27 And obviously there's been some changes.
00:28 One of the biggest changes is obviously you've got new coaches in, but apart from that are
00:32 there some other good signings?
00:34 Yeah, a few new players.
00:35 Jacob Pepper and Lachlan West, they've made a big difference in pre-season so far.
00:40 As you mentioned the coaching staff's changed so the new style of football, we've been working
00:44 really hard in pre-season to get that right.
00:47 So yeah, we're looking for a positive brand of football, hopefully score lots of goals
00:52 and finish side of the table as we can.
00:54 The other thing I suppose too is the fact that you've got a very similar group of players
01:00 from last couple of years I suppose.
01:03 So it's easy to say who's the most annoying team-mate during pre-season, is that always
01:07 the same guy?
01:08 Well there's a few, but I'll single out Jack Reid-Jones.
01:13 He doesn't want to pay his fines, always late, leaving stuff behind and always argues back
01:17 when we do fine him, so we'll go with RJ.
01:20 Fair enough.
01:21 Alright Marcus, best of luck to you.
