00:08 Yeah, I don't think I could pick any single lad out for extra praise. I think it was a
00:14 great team performance on and off the ball. The energy, the intensity, when we didn't
00:18 have it was excellent and it needed to be because they're a very good side. Phil's
00:22 got them really working exactly how he wants them to do it and I think for us to be able
00:27 to limit them to what we did was really, really pleasing.
00:31 And the pressing, especially pleasing to a man, everyone tonight was on it.
00:37 Well, I did say to the lads before the game, if you look at the stats of our games this
00:41 season, never mind how many goals we've scored or conceded, it's irrelevant in what I'm going
00:45 to tell you here. When we win more duels than the opposition in a game, we tend to win the
00:49 game. And now we've got a good armoury in terms of attacking. We've spread goals right
00:55 across the team this season. It's one of those things where we had a bloody nose after Tuesday
01:02 night. Make no bones about it, Fiver come here and did a job on us. And a lot of mitigating
01:07 factors to that game, by the way. But we didn't make excuses, we took it on the chin and we
01:12 got ourselves up off the canvas and I thought we'd come out, like you said, punishing and
01:16 make sure the game went our way.
01:18 That's obviously the perfect reaction, isn't it? It's Tuesday night and we're straight
01:21 back on it against a team who are obviously up in the play-offs as well.
01:25 Yeah, we've had a really tough run of fixtures in terms of on paper, which the game isn't
01:28 cleared, I know that. But it gets no easier. We've got a web on it, aren't we, but there's
01:33 certainty above us. So, they come here on Tuesday night on the back of a really good
01:37 win. So, we just move on. We don't harp on about how well we've done when we've won.
01:43 We don't whinge too much when we've lost. We just move to the next game. So, where we
01:47 are for this stage of the season is a huge improvement as a football club, total. And
01:53 we just want to keep on doing what we're doing.
01:55 Obviously, a great score just before half-time, getting two just before half-time. A great
01:59 strike from Tardow on the first one and then obviously Loran there on the rebound on the
02:02 second one.
02:03 Yeah, I mean, I think there would have been a tinge of disappointment in my head had
02:08 we gone in not leading, I thought. They started the game well enough and they added a few
02:13 things, but I thought, like you said, our precedent meant we were on the front foot
02:16 most of the first half. And I've got to say, one or two of the lads who normally would
02:20 have polished off a couple of the chances didn't take them. But we kept going, kept
02:24 knocking on the door, delayed it that one. When one is getting crossed from one side
02:29 and the bloke playing on the other side comes and scores, it's always pleasing. And when
02:33 your number nine scores from six yards out between the posts, that's what we work on.
02:37 So, we're really, really pleased.
02:39 And a clean sheet tonight as well. Good to get one of those under the belt.
