00:24 are given the choice that they're really inspired to learn and it invokes a love of learning and hopefully lifelong learning so that they're inspired to
00:31 learn as much as they can about nature and they learn to love nature. When children arrive here
00:36 we say this is your classroom. What would you like to do? And
00:41 as soon as they get that choice and that feeling that they are being heard and that they get to
00:47 explore in the way that they want to
00:50 they just feel so free and so happy to explore and
00:55 the things that they love most about it are probably playing in the creek,
00:59 looking for the different animals that are in the creek,
01:03 even changing the pattern of how the creek runs by building dams and things.
01:09 I think that they really like the swings and the trees. Climbing trees is another thing that children just
01:16 really desire to do and so we love giving them the choice here. Yes, you can climb a tree.
01:21 How are you going to make that safe for yourself? And then they get that choice and so we haven't got any incidents that happen up
01:27 here because we are getting children to risk assess themselves.
