00:03 Clare in the next election. Would you like to comment on those rumours?
00:06 Yeah, well they're only rumours. The reality is that I've always had an interest in federal politics.
00:14 I ran for the Senate in 2019 and I wasn't successful but it was a fantastic experience before entering State Parliament.
00:24 I genuinely can't answer the question until the Electoral Commission hand down draft boundaries.
00:29 But what I can commit to is supporting David Littleproud and my federal colleagues every day of every week
00:36 whilst they're here on the ground in the Central West. It's about identifying the issues.
00:41 It's about talking to real people in the streets of the towns of the Central West, in these communities,
00:47 about the challenges but also the opportunities for the future.
00:51 As to who will be the candidate for the National Party in the federal election,
00:54 I can guarantee from what David has said clearly on the record here in the Central West,
01:00 the National Party is running, they will run hard, they want to represent the views in this community once again.
