00:00A big upgrade is coming here. Can you tell us what's going to happen, Tony?
00:03Certainly, as a result of our two actions which have been occurring in the last couple of years,
00:07we've seen some government funding being allocated to this area. What we're going to see is a major
00:11upgrade at this crossing, which will be a Wombat crossing, and hopefully that will facilitate
00:16safe path of some vehicles and enable people across the road in safety.
00:23And what's going to look different here?
00:26What we're going to see is a slight rise in the crossing itself, where motorists will have to
00:31slow down to cross. It won't inconvenience them for the flow of the traffic, but what we will do
00:36is provide a safe environment for people when they cross the road.
00:39And why is this improvement so important?
00:42It's important because we want people to feel safe when crossing our roads. As we can see here,
00:46it is the entry point and exit point for a car park, a major car park, and what we want people
00:51to be able to do is to exit there or enter there with safety, but we also want people to be able
00:56to cross the road in a safe manner. And by having this raised Wombat crossing,
01:02that will allow people to be able to do that.
