Racegoers flock to the Quirindi Cup meeting

The annual Quirindi Cup meeting is staged at Quirindi Racecourse on February 23, 2024 in Quirindi, Australia.

00:08 So we expected to have a few people come and there's a lot of reserved seating.

00:15 We were booked out at the start of the week so I didn't have much left over for everyone.

00:21 Oh look, I'd like to say in excess of the 600 to 800.

00:25 We've got a bit of a steady start.

00:26 It's a bit warm at the minute so hopefully we'll have some afternoon goers turn up and

00:44 I take it you've been here before?

00:45 Yes, I come to the races very often, yes.

00:46 And you're here with friends today are you?

00:47 Yeah, yeah, a few friends up in the marquee back there, yeah.

00:48 And got the day off work have you?

00:49 Yes, well I'm the local florist and I sponsor the fashion show.
