00:55 We just need to highlight the concern and the worry that's within the rural community now.
01:00 On the back of these latest proposals from Welsh Government, the headlines are bringing great, great worry and trepidation to what we've got, to our rural way of life really,
01:17 and to the well-being and financial well-being of our industry and the wider rural communities because of everything else.
01:28 I don't want to be here, but we have to be here because the situation has got out of hand.
01:34 And we will forget that there are 11 countries in Europe where farmers are complaining as well.
01:41 It's not just a Welsh thing, but it's specifically a Welsh thing. And it's not just about the trees, it's about the TV, it's about the NVZ, and the general Labour apathy towards the countryside.
01:54 In fact, I would go further, I think they're deliberately having a go at the countryside.
02:00 Why do you think that?
02:02 Oh, it's very simple. There is no Labour vote in the countryside. And in the same way the Conservatives didn't get many votes from the miners, so they had to go at them.
02:13 It's very straightforward. And the thing that they want us to do is to help them with their net zero, which is a ridiculous target agenda.
02:27 We're doing that.
02:28 We're trying to get through that, Senedd. Recognition at last that a cull in wildlife needs to be part of a full TB programme as well.
02:36 So that debate as well will be heard next week on the Senedd.
02:41 All of this is happening as a result of farmers saying clearly to their political representatives of all party colours that you've had enough and that you want us to listen and to give some priority to working with you
02:55 to change some of the systems that you are currently dealing with.
