00:00 Well, I'm working very, very hard on trying to get fair and reasonable settlements, not
00:05 just for junior doctors, but for example for our nurses, our midwives, for our consultants,
00:10 for our GPs and many others who work in the healthcare service. I have the enormous privilege
00:15 of working with NHS England, who employ some 1.3 million people to look after our NHS.
00:22 And I will be trying to ensure that we get fair and reasonable settlements for everybody.
00:26 But my message to junior doctors is loud and clear. Striking is not the way to achieve
00:31 this. We have been able to work with other unions. They have not gone down this route.
00:37 And I would encourage the junior doctors to look at their peers and return to the table
00:43 rather than taking this highly damaging action for patients and for the NHS.
