00:00 "He is my final revenge, A-chan!"
00:02 "Dad, come on!"
00:05 Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks
00:08 for the most memorable times that a host made their scene partners laugh.
00:12 "You know I love you. Hey!"
00:14 Number 10. Cut for Time. Date in Mexico.
00:20 Fans of 90 Day Fiancé will appreciate this crazy premise,
00:24 but they should also stick around for some quality breaking.
00:27 "You wanna see one of just the bod?"
00:28 "Oh no, it's…"
00:30 "Check that out, right?"
00:31 As Will Ferrell's character reveals that his girlfriend isn't coming,
00:34 Cecily Strong starts to crack. The first time might be subtle,
00:38 but there's an undercurrent of laughter that finally bursts.
00:42 "You two should have these."
00:43 Strong really can't contain herself as Ferrell brings out a pair of candy panties.
00:48 With absurd lines and her co-star's crazed performance,
00:52 she drops the act and tries to hide her chuckling.
00:55 "Then don't think of them as panties, alright? Think of them as regular candy.
00:59 I only wore them once."
01:01 The former cast member takes a detailed script
01:04 and makes it even wilder with each moment.
01:06 After having to watch a legend shovel down lobster meat,
01:10 you'll probably be giggling too.
01:12 "Oh, you're not supposed to eat the shell."
01:14 "Well, I don't know that!"
01:15 Number 9. Super Showcase Spokesmodels.
01:18 Sometimes a sketch is even better when things go wrong.
01:22 "You'll be golfing all day and leaving before dinner. Call yourself Female B."
01:25 Host Maya Rudolph joins this skit to reveal showcase prizes,
01:29 but spends most of the time laughing with Kristen Wiig.
01:33 Chickens and other golf accessories cause the two to crumble,
01:36 along with their hilarious accents.
01:38 "Back off! Where's my candy? Cut the wheel!"
01:42 Bill Hader can't even contain himself as the segment continues.
01:46 The laughter becomes so contagious, the scene partners can barely read their lines.
01:51 "Don't stop! I can't stop! That's a gap!"
01:54 Rudolph is arguably the best at staying afloat,
01:57 making sure that Wiig and Hader are giggling until the end.
02:01 She causes more chuckles and dodges a golf cart by the end of this comic masterpiece.
02:06 "Well, that wasn't supposed to happen."
02:10 Number 8. Weekend Update - Stefan on St. Patrick's Day.
02:15 It wouldn't be a Stefan skit without some amount of breaking.
02:18 "Thank you so much for joining us, Stefan."
02:21 "Connor, Percy."
02:23 When he came back to host,
02:24 Bill Hader made sure to return with his beloved update correspondent.
02:28 "New York's hottest Irish club is off to church, mother!"
02:32 This time, the travel expert talks about St. Patrick's Day,
02:35 while also cracking up Michael Che and Colin Jost.
02:39 Hader can't escape the laughter either, looking surprised by his crazy script.
02:44 "This place has everything. Young popes, old popes, Roman J. Israel."
02:51 The sassy segment doesn't skimp on memorable moments,
02:54 as the co-hosts giggle throughout.
02:56 After all of the comically bad advice,
02:59 these three comedians are definitely enjoying themselves.
03:02 With a former SNL legend eager to please,
03:05 this sketch is unforgettable for its loose and fun energy.
03:08 "Stefan, everyone! 2020!"
03:12 Number 7. Benny Hanna.
03:14 Channeling childlike menace, Jonah Hill doesn't disappoint with his kid acting.
03:18 "My name is Adam Grossman. I'm six years young."
03:21 He's paired up with Leslie Jones's nanny in a sketch set at a Benny Hanna.
03:26 Hill doesn't hold back either,
03:28 singing tunes from Bob Marley that make his scene partner lose it.
03:31 "I am not from Jamaica. I shot the sheriff!
03:36 But me do not shoot the death!
03:40 He had given me nothing here!
03:42 It feels like pulling teeth without a string!"
03:44 It's so outrageous that you'll probably laugh along with her.
03:48 Jones needs a few moments to catch her breath,
03:50 as her co-star keeps throwing jokes her way.
03:52 "Here's some marriage advice for you.
03:54 Don't do it!
03:55 I'm kidding, I'm six! What do I know?"
03:58 The Oscar-nominated actor makes the skit that much better
04:01 by breaking his fellow performer,
04:03 pushing the envelope with his bold musical choices.
04:06 He'll make you wish that you were at an actual restaurant table
04:09 watching it all happen.
04:10 "Unlock!
04:12 One time! I'm killing it!"
04:15 Number 6. New Girlfriend.
04:17 Dinner parties can be strange sometimes,
04:20 but an evil gasp can really send them over the top.
04:23 Fred Armisen takes this concept and runs with it.
04:26 "Very, very sorry we were late, but uh, but here she is.
04:29 Isn't she great?"
04:30 "Thanks for having us, I'm Regine."
04:33 Testing his co-star's limits,
04:35 the lead performer spreads out along a couch
04:38 and into the personal space of multiple people.
04:40 "Watch this.
04:42 Come here."
04:42 Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant both have moments
04:53 where they have to break in the face of pure chaos.
04:56 "Watch what happens when I tickle her behind her knee.
04:58 Here, give me that.
04:58 Come here. Come here, you."
05:00 Armisen's brave performance proves that nothing is sacred,
05:05 even dipping his shoes in the food.
05:08 His co-stars eventually laugh as they come face to face
05:11 with an unstoppable force.
05:13 You would be losing it too if you had a talented comedian
05:16 stretching his legs on top of you.
05:18 "Okay, is there any more food?
05:20 I need to get something down my throat
05:24 to fight what is coming up."
05:26 Number 5. Weekend Update - Gumby Returns
05:30 Having been away from the show for decades,
05:32 Eddie Murphy managed to return to host SNL in top form.
05:36 "Who's guy is Gumby?"
05:37 "They know who the hell it is! I'm Gumby, dammit!"
05:40 He brought back characters like Gumby
05:42 for a fun-filled Weekend Update segment.
05:44 This includes making co-hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che laugh.
05:48 "All right, Gumby, Gumby, just calm down. Calm down."
05:50 "Don't tell me the 'calm down' trailer, boy."
05:52 Having to insult the Update presenters,
05:56 Murphy himself stumbles through lines
05:59 in the most hilarious way possible.
06:01 "How'd you even get this job? What's your winner?
06:03 Radio contest or something?"
06:04 Each flub makes for more laughter
06:06 as Jost and Che chuckle alongside the comedic legend.
06:10 With his unique comic energy,
06:12 this host can both bring back a beloved role
06:14 and have his co-stars in stitches.
06:17 It's also nice to see an icon slip up on live TV.
06:20 "All right, all right, uncle."
06:22 Number 4. Career Day
06:24 With the intensity of Adam Driver,
06:26 this funny sketch becomes something more than a typical scene.
06:29 "Greetings, children. I'm Mordecai's father.
06:34 Hello, boy."
06:34 The lead performer gets so crazed
06:37 that co-star Pete Davidson has to break character.
06:40 Driver plays an oil baron who's both ruthless
06:43 and eager to yell for emphasis.
06:45 "Now what does an oil baron do?"
06:47 "The answer? Crush your enemies!
06:51 Drain their bones into dirt!
06:54 Make them regret they were ever born!"
06:58 After the host starts to dig into the role,
07:00 Davidson really loses it
07:02 after the dramatic actor stabs a bird.
07:04 "I am licking my dog tickets!"
07:07 Forcing his co-star to hide his smile,
07:09 the guest host stays in character like a true professional.
07:12 The unpredictable nature of the writing
07:14 only makes it much harder to stop from laughing.
07:17 "I want to be you when I grow up."
07:19 "And so you shall!"
07:22 Number 3. Girlfriend's Game Night
07:24 When you see Bill Hader show up as an old man in a wheelchair,
07:28 you know something is coming.
07:29 "Horace, be careful! You are being such a dude right now.
07:34 Men, how do we, ladies?"
07:37 He stars as the elderly husband of Cecily Strong's character,
07:41 which brings tons of awkwardness to this skit.
07:44 When the opportunity strikes,
07:45 Horace and his wife try to get pregnant in a laugh-inducing moment.
07:49 "Don't worry, I have this courtesy blanket so you won't see anything."
07:53 Hader's ability to maneuver the chair around
07:55 also causes chaos as he fails to avoid his co-stars.
07:59 This starts a chain reaction of breaking that includes Strong,
08:03 Melissa Villasenor, and the host himself.
08:05 "You know what? You should be ashamed of yourselves."
08:09 Hader's scene partner manages to hang on and remain on the vehicle until the end.
08:16 Mixing danger and hilarity,
08:18 this sketch lets the guest performer take the reins and make hilarious mistakes.
08:28 Number 2. Close Encounter.
08:30 After three people come to describe their experience with aliens,
08:34 it's clear that one of them has had a much different encounter.
08:37 "It was amazing and I cried, sir."
08:39 "Hey, and you, Miss Rapperty?"
08:41 "Wow. What floor were you guys on?"
08:46 Kate McKinnon's character then goes on tangents that turn her co-stars to mush.
08:50 "They were, um, gray with big fat eyes, little mouths.
08:54 They just stared while I peed."
08:57 "I don't think I was dealing with the top brass."
09:00 Host Ryan Gosling giggles his way through most of the sketch,
09:04 eventually sending co-stars like Aidy Bryant and Bobby Moynihan down with him.
09:09 "Did y'all get the knocker stuff?"
09:10 "Uh, no. No knocker stuff, sorry."
09:13 "And did you feel threatened, Miss Rapperty?"
09:17 Gosling's contagious laughter takes a fantastic skid,
09:21 and arguably takes it to the next level.
09:23 After a while, the entire thing feels like a big party that's punctuated by strategic camera shots
09:29 that find almost everyone breaking.
09:31 This doesn't discount the work of McKinnon that throws the host for a loop.
09:35 "Tell me about God. What's God's deal?"
09:37 Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
09:41 Uncle Ben. Dave Chappelle breaks the fourth wall and makes Pete Davidson break.
09:46 "Big old fat lips. Seriously. America. Look at Pete Davidson's lips."
09:53 New Wife. Larry David makes Cecily Strong laugh in the finale of this absurd sketch.
09:59 "The club is overrun with thirsty butt. Thirsty bottom fetus, you know."
10:05 Whiskers Are We With Kristen Wiig. With so many unpredictable cats,
10:09 Kristen Wiig ends up throwing Kate McKinnon for a loop.
10:12 "That is my nipple and I think you know that."
10:16 "I think I know you like it."
10:18 "Oh, boy."
10:20 Reality Stars. Will Ferrell and Cecily Strong cause chaos and laughter as terrible house guests.
10:26 "I am a red-blooded American boy, after all."

10:46 Number 1. Matt Foley at the Gym. During his one and only hosting job,
10:52 Chris Farley brought back Matt Foley for an exercise class.
10:55 "My name, for all of you who don't know me, is Matt Foley, and I am a motivational speaker."
11:03 The comedian dives back into his character and finds enough energy to trip up his fellow
11:07 performers. "You're gonna be our fitness instructor?" "Listen, hard body, I don't give a rat's behind!"
11:14 Once he climbs onto the bike, he almost sends some cast members early on in the skit.
11:19 Farley has the natural chops to make almost anybody laugh with this iconic role.
11:23 "You cannot be serious." "I just wish you two dolls would bring it down to naught!"
11:29 Once he dumps the coffee on himself, he causes Tim Meadows and Jim Brewer to hide their smiles.
11:35 The host isn't even in top form and still manages to break the people around him.
11:40 "I gotta move on into karate class, Evan."
11:42 Did we forget another time that a host broke a cast member? Let us know in the comments.
11:47 "So, uh, anyway, I, I, I guess I had two bones."
