00:00 President Gengob was a great freedom fighter.
00:05 He was an accomplished scholar and the architect of the Namibian Constitution
00:16 that has given this country great stability.
00:20 President Gengob was a passionate leader
00:29 and the third president of Namibia.
00:32 And he stood tall as a Pan-Africanist who believed in the unity of our continent.
00:42 We know that President Gengob believed that independence is a project and work in progress.
00:55 We must work hard on this independence and freedom project,
01:03 especially now, so that we can liberate, not just for independence sake,
01:15 but we can liberate our economies, settled with debt,
01:21 liberate our young people trapped in unemployment.
01:27 These are principles President Gengob worked so hard to achieve.
