00:00 The purpose of this event is really to raise the profile of the importance of the family farm.
00:07 Going back through history, farming has been in Rothern Ireland carried out by families.
00:13 And those families are immensely important right across the agricultural spectrum and the horticultural spectrum as well.
00:20 Where we get in some cases three generations working on the farm and passing on the information and passing on their skills.
00:28 That's a very key aspect of our agricultural industry.
00:32 So basically today is to raise the profile of that, to make our politicians aware of that.
00:37 And to make them assure that for the future, that while that structure continues to be supported through financial support and through education.
00:48 That that can continue on into the future and guarantee an ongoing supply of food for our own consumer.
00:56 And of course for our very important export market.
