Lantra was the winner of the Farm Safety Award at the NI Farming Awards 2024. Health and safety is integral to Lantra's mission, it's embedded in all courses, making it a vital component of their commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of those working in agriculture.

00:28making it a vital component of their commitment to safeguarding the wellbeing of those working in agriculture.
00:35Then there's Livestock and Meat Commission for Northern Ireland.
00:39LMC has been a long-term affiliate member of the Farm Safety Partnership,
00:43supporting initiatives and events that highlight and encourage safe working practices.
00:50Then there's the Northern Ireland Safety Group. They're a dedicated group of safety professionals
00:56who work closely with the Farm Safety Partnership to promote farm safety at global events
01:02and then on their website.
01:05Tilly Pass is run by a farming family following the death of Harry, aged 19,
01:11due to poorly maintained trailer brakes. The scheme is set up to help one and all.
01:17Then you have the True Nutrition Ireland Safety Stories.
01:23This is an active safety programme in their factory and recognised a gap in producing the same
01:29through their commercial team. They facilitated understanding of this through safety stories.
