00:00 So let's hop into our first topic of the day and that is 2025 Tampa, Florida Zephyr Hills,
00:10 five star DB DJ picket has locked in an official visit to Oregon on June 21st of this summer.
00:21 This report comes from Steve Wolf on the director of recruiting for 247 sports.
00:27 He also reports that picket has locked in for total official visits.
00:32 So Oregon is one of those kind of coming in late June.
00:37 LSU is going to get the first official visit on June 1st.
00:41 Georgia will get the next visit on June 7th.
00:44 And then you also have Miami on June 14th.
00:48 And then Wolf on also reported that Florida and Florida State are are incredibly involved as well in that recruitment.
00:56 And I think this is a notable update because earlier this month, picket released his top five schools,
01:03 which is another significant move when it comes to any recruiting process.
01:09 Right. So DJ picket dropped his top five schools and he is going to be working from from a top five that includes Oregon.
01:19 So the fact that Oregon is in the mix here is obviously pretty significant.
01:25 He is going to be working from a top five of LSU, Oregon, Georgia, Michigan and Miami.
01:33 And he is one of the very best players in the entire country.
01:37 Obviously, you hear that he's a five star.
01:39 So I'm going to go ahead and read off the rankings over on 247 sports.
01:44 The composite he's rated a five star zero point nine nine seven four.
01:49 The number seven recruit in the entire country, the number three corner and the top player in the Sunshine State,
01:56 a.k.a. Florida, 41 reported scholarship offers, and he comes in at six to one hundred and seventy pounds.
02:04 He's had one of the more interesting recruitments of late.
02:09 I haven't seen. A lot of quotes from DJ picket, but what do we do?
02:16 What we do know is that he's taken a couple of trips out to Oregon and he recently made the cross country trip in early February.
02:25 Earlier this month, the second of Oregon's two junior day visits.
02:30 So I think the fact that he's taken multiple trips out to Eugene is obviously positive momentum for the Ducks.
02:37 Chris Hampton and Dan Lanning, the rest of that defensive staff,
02:40 they're as heavy hitters as big a heavy hitter as most staffs in the country.
02:46 Chris Hampton has some really good juice as a recruiter after signing Aaron Flowers in Kingston, Lopa in the secondary.
02:53 Obviously, Flowers is an All-American from the twenty twenty four class.
02:57 And then you got guys like Kobe Savage, Brandon Johnson also in the fold,
03:02 and then Jabbar Muhammad and Cameron Alexander from the portal.
