00:04 Our stories, people connect with, people want to see, people want to see more of.
00:09 So, the fact that this film was made at all was a win.
00:13 The fact that it was made the way that it was was a tremendous win and really feels like it's an historic moment.
00:19 Um, the fact that audiences cared about Molly so much that, you know, just, it's been the testament to this whole season.
00:28 Is, whatever I'm holding is because people care about her and I got to spend a moment of time carrying her story.
00:37 But it's indicative of, I hope, a larger cultural shift, um, more empathy for our fellow man.
00:45 Um, and all of the other actors in the category, all of the other actors that are in the ensemble that I was nominated with.
00:52 I mean, I couldn't have created Molly without my incredible cast that I got to work with.
00:56 You know, she had a very specific place in her family that was defined by, that is defined by Osage culture.
01:03 It was defined by how precious our women are.
01:07 Um, and, uh, yeah, it's, you know, this is heavy.
01:12 It's all literally and figuratively quite a heavy thing to carry, but it's absolutely shared.
01:17 And I'm just so grateful that audiences, the way they connected with Molly, the way they connected with the sisters,
01:23 they want to see more of that matrilineal love, that, um, that bond that Native women have with each other.
01:30 Because we're the ones that have kept us going. We're the ones who have kept us surviving.
01:35 Um, a lot of times we're the ones who hold and protect our stories.
01:39 And, uh, the fact that Fancy Dance found its home with Apple, so people can watch "Killers"
01:46 and if they feel like they miss the sisters after, if they feel like they miss more, seeing more of that,
01:53 um, then maybe it'll just queue right up right after. Watch this next. It'll be Fancy Dance.
01:58 And it shows a very similar history in the same land a hundred years later.
02:03 And some things have definitely changed, but a lot of things haven't.
02:06 But what hasn't is just this sustaining love that Indigenous women have for each other and the way we carry each other forward.
