Rare Hong Kong protest sounds alarm on new security law

Hong Kong activists stage a rare public protest against government plans for a new national security law, saying it lacks democratic oversight and human rights safeguards.

00:37 and they have a very powerful civil society and also the past.
00:43 So there is quite a lot of check and balance.
00:46 But Hong Kong lacks such a social system.
