00:00 President Bongbong Marcos wants to implement the plebiscite for the proposed amendment to the Constitution and the 2025 midterm elections.
00:10 Comelec said that it can be done, but there are additional preparations that need to be done.

00:18 If the Senate and House of Representatives agree on the amendment of the Economic Provision of the Constitution,
00:27 the Commission on Elections or Comelec will move to include economic provisions that want to be amended in the Constitution.
00:36 Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri said yesterday that President Marcos wants to implement the plebiscite for the 2025 midterm elections.
00:45 Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said that it can be done, but if he's the one who will ask,
00:51 it would be better if the election and plebiscite are not implemented at the same time.
00:55 As far as I'm concerned, it's better if the national and local elections are separated and the plebiscite so that the people can understand what is being changed.
