00:00 Let's get into my latest prediction for Oregon football in the 2025 recruiting class.
00:06 Yesterday on Sunday, I made a prediction for Oregon to land 2025 Pittsburgh, California
00:11 safety Jaden Hudson.
00:14 And I know I'm not the first one to make this pick, but I get to talk to one of my sources
00:19 close to this recruitment over the weekend.
00:22 And after getting some intel, I think I am ready to hop on board here and put my prediction
00:29 down for Oregon to land Jaden Hudson.
00:32 And I really don't think this is that complicated of a pick in terms of just the reasoning behind
00:40 it.
00:41 Oregon has consistently been a player for the top talent, top defensive talent in particular
00:48 over the past couple of cycles.
00:50 You're talking about your Elijah Rushings, your Dylan Williams, your Aiden Breelands,
00:56 your Braden Platts if you want to go up north to Washington.
01:01 Oregon's done a really, really good job.
01:03 Jericho Johnson, a top defensive lineman out of Northern California, Fairfield, Armijo,
01:09 all these guys, the list goes on and on of top NorCal guys that have made their way top
01:13 California top West Coast guys, I should say, that have made their way to Eugene and gone
01:20 to Eugene and had a lot of success.
01:24 Aaron Flowers is the talk of the safety acquisitions now from the 2024 class out of Forney, Texas.
01:34 Got to see him at the Adidas All-American Bowl in San Antonio earlier this year.
01:38 And he looks like he's going to be a stud, maybe even a guy that contributes early for
01:41 the Ducks.
01:42 And then you also have Kingston Lopa out of Sacramento, Northern California, Grant Union.
01:48 And he's kind of an intriguing prospect, 6'5", 190 pounds.
01:53 They kind of look at him as a safety hybrid type of deal, a guy who can do a lot of things.
01:57 So just the geographical footprint that Oregon has really operated in recently, I think that
02:04 Hudson fits that mold.
02:05 He fits the mold of kind of the safeties that we've seen come to Oregon in recent years.
02:11 Maybe not the fastest guy out there, but he's definitely got some good speed, some long
02:14 speed, can cover a tremendous amount of ground operating in that back end.
02:20 And he's constantly in the right place at the right time.
02:23 You look at his production over at Pittsburgh, definitely a guy who has some really strong
02:27 coverage ability, breaking up passes or hauling in interceptions.
02:32 Another reason I think Oregon makes a lot of sense here, just look at the staff, right?
02:35 You have to look at the relationships.
02:37 You have to look at the connections, where the pipeline areas come from.
02:40 I already talked about how Oregon has recruited the West Coast and California, even Northern
02:45 California in particular, really, really well.
02:48 And Tosh LaPoi played his high school football at De La Salle out there in Concord, where
02:52 the Ducks got Matthew Johnson in the East Bay.
02:55 And here we have another top East Bay prospect, Jaden Hudson, probably going to be squarely
02:59 in the mix for one of the top players in Northern California, if not the Bay Area.
03:05 I know Folsom quarterback Ryder Lyons is a huge name in Northern California as well.
03:11 But Jaden Hudson's a really talented guy that I think Oregon makes a lot of sense for.
