00:03 - All right, finally, let's get to Russell Wilson.
00:05 He was on a podcast with Brandon Marshall.
00:08 You know, I heard some of the discussion there
00:11 and some clips about, you know,
00:12 he says he wants to be back with Denver.
00:14 We know that's not gonna happen.
00:15 He's gonna get released.
00:16 So Denver's gonna take the cap hit for this year
00:19 and then they'll have a lot of money, I assume,
00:22 in two years to do whatever they want.
00:24 So Wilson, I know on some of the sports books,
00:27 you could actually bet on his next destination
00:29 and Pittsburgh is the favorite,
00:31 but there are some other teams out there, Jacob, right?
00:33 Like, I don't think the Seahawks are a lock by any means
00:36 to basically employ him for what I would guess
00:39 would be a one-year deal next year.
00:41 - Yeah, I think he's gonna go with a one-year minimum deal
00:45 because he's going, any amount of money he makes
00:48 is offset by the money he makes with the Broncos.
00:50 So the Broncos are footing a $39 million bill
00:52 for him this year.
00:54 And basically, you can't make more than that
00:56 unless someone signs him for more than $39 million,
00:58 which won't happen.
00:59 Anyway, long story short, he's gonna have options.
01:02 He's gonna get to go to a place
01:03 where he might have a chance to start.
01:05 Steelers could be a landing spot,
01:07 but I think the Falcons, Vikings, and Raiders
01:09 are all teams to watch as well.
01:11 Those are teams that don't have a definitive starter,
01:14 aren't necessarily in the range where they're guaranteed
01:16 to get a quarterback that they like.
01:18 So maybe they sign him to a one-year deal
01:20 and view him as just that stopgap kind of veteran
01:22 who could maybe get them some wins
01:23 if he returns to the form he showed in Seattle.
