Drug Bust In Gujarat: Indian Navy Seizes Over 3300 Kg Meth, Charas; Five Arrested

On February 27, the Indian Navy and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized nearly 3,300 kg of drugs from a ship near Porbandar in Gujarat. The ship had five crew members. This seizure is the biggest by the Navy in recent times. The drugs seized include 3,089 kilograms of charas, 158 kg of Methamphetamine and 25 kg of morphine, the Navy said. The Indian Navy did not specify the cost of the seizure. As reported by PTI, one kg of charas is priced at Rs 7 crore in international markets. All the crew members have been handed over to the law enforcement agencies by the Navy. Watch the video to know more.
