Transcript
00:00 So how does it feel to open Glasgow Film Festival, Rose?
00:02 Oh it's an honour, very exciting. I had my first film was here in the festival in 2020 I think,
00:07 so it's very cool to be back and opening it.
00:09 Sure, was that St Martin?
00:10 Yes, I only did one other one.
00:11 Is that four years you're back again?
00:14 Yeah, god I guess it is four years, those like two pandemic years just feel like this
00:18 sort of didn't happen.
00:18 How does it feel to be back in Glasgow?
00:21 Great, like I've never managed to stay for more than a few days and I'm always like,
00:25 oh I need to walk around and see the town and then I have to leave, but it's very nice to be back.
00:29 For sure, so tell us a bit more about the film if you don't mind.
00:31 Yeah, so it's like a sort of romance thriller kind of thing set in the 80s in America in a
00:37 sort of nowhere town in the southwest and it's a love story between these two seemingly very
00:41 sort of polar opposite women, one of them's an aspiring bodybuilder and the other works in a gym
00:46 but just likes sitting on her arse behind a desk all day and they meet and fall in love and lots
00:50 of stuff starts to go very very wrong.
00:53 For sure, yeah. So I believe you've sold out, is that true?
00:55 Apparently, yeah, someone said that apparently it sold out in like seven minutes or something,
00:58 so thank you.
00:59 Sure, yeah, so where do you think that film at, Peele's, the Glydes region, is there an interest?
01:02 Who knows, I mean let's see if they haven't seen it yet, so maybe they'll like it.
