An actor from the now-infamous Willy Wonka experience in Glasgow, which led to disappointed children and police intervention, has shared some behind-the-scenes scoop on the ordeal.
Transcript
00:00 I feel for anyone who bought tickets to this event, people who are expecting a magical chocolate experience
00:09 and got me in a top hat in a dirty warehouse in Glasgow.
00:14 [Music]
00:31 We were told on the experience to hand out a jelly bean, one jelly bean per child,
00:39 and a quarter of a cup of Tesco's own brand lemonade.
00:48 You could say it was a world of imagination in that you had to imagine it was not a dirty old warehouse.
00:56 Rightfully so, people were furious, there was shouting, there was people filming things on their phone,
01:03 there was things being broken, things being stolen apparently.
01:07 I would like to finish this video by saying that I hope that the people who went there did get something out of it
01:13 other than one jelly bean and a quarter glass of lemonade.
01:18 And I really hope that everyone gets the refunds that they deserve.
01:23 It was an absolute mess.
