DOH records drop in dengue cases from Jan. 1-Feb. 10

00:00 The Department of Health or DOH has reported a significant 11 percent reduction in nationwide
00:05 dengue cases from January 14 to 27 compared to the previous period of January 1 to 13.
00:12 Subsequently, from January 28 to February 10, a further decrease is noted with only
00:18 over 5,000 cases.
00:20 However, Regions 10 and Karaga have experienced an increase in cases in the recent three to
00:26 four weeks, reporting more than 1,000 and 750 new cases respectively.
00:32 The DOH advocates strengthening the 5S strategy against dengue.
