00:00 I'm Mark Haban, Director of Zoological Operations here at Wildwood Trust,
00:03 standing here in fairly damp conditions on what is an extremely exciting day for all of us
00:10 here at Wildwood Trust. It is of course the day that two young bull bison have arrived,
00:15 you can see them just behind me. Our friends and colleagues at Highlands Wildlife Park spent
00:19 yesterday afternoon loading these two young bulls onto a transporter and since the early hours of
00:25 this morning been here working with the keeper team, our rangers, creating a race which is like
00:32 an enclosed corridor to run from our car park all the way across one of our grass paddocks and into
00:38 their new enclosure which as you can see they're really enjoying. We've been on the go quite early
00:43 from about five or six o'clock this morning just making sure that we're completely prepared for
00:48 these animals turning up. It's really exciting as you can see that they're over there having a good
00:52 look around in their new enclosures. Yeah, it was a job well done. We've got a long history of bison
00:57 here at Wildwood, we had of course Orsk and Hades which were our real elderly gentlemen that are
01:03 sadly no longer with us but that baton was very firmly handed to these two young bulls here and
01:09 what a delightful day this is, really exciting for everybody to see the young animals settled
01:14 in so quickly and of course delight the visitors when they come here and expect to see bison
01:19 and bison they'll see.
