Renewable energy, green technology, digital and food security are key potential areas for Malaysia and Australia to explore further cooperation, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim during his official visit to Australia on Monday (March 4).

00:17 The Prime Ministers of both countries held bilateral talks and led delegations to attend the second Australia-Malaysia Annual Leaders' Meeting in Melbourne on Monday to explore cooperation in those areas.
00:29 Prime Minister Datuk Sri Anwar Ibrahim said Malaysia could benefit from Australia's advancements.
00:35 He said education remains the priority in their cooperation and he hoped that the government encouraged Australian institutions to set up campuses in Malaysia.

00:49 He said renewable energy and food security should also be the focus of both nations.
00:57 The two governments also formalised four Memoranda of Understanding on Science and Technology, Cyber Security and Sports Development.
