The limited edition will be certified and sold directly by the Stellantis Heritage department
The modern reincarnation of the Fiat 500 has been a success for the Italian brand, which has won the hearts of more than 3.2 million buyers with its cute and nostalgic styling. The production model was introduced in 2007, but its design was based on the Trepiuno concept, which was unveiled in Geneva on 4 March 2004. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening, Stellantis Heritage has created a new limited edition of the Fiat 500 called the Tributo Trepiuno. .
The special model is based on the 500 Hybrid but features various exterior and interior modifications that reflect the concept car's design, which is heavily inspired by the 1957 original. That's why the Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno rides on a new set of alloy wheels with five double spokes and a gloss finish, painted in a special shade of white. Other references to the concept include red accents on the taillights and old blue-faced Fiat badges on the grille, trunk lid and wheel covers.

It has a unique combination of reddish-brown and white in it. The dashboard is covered with original drawings of the concept, and the front seats are upholstered in full-grain white leather and feature Trepiuno embroidery with the XX (Latin numerals for 20) badge underneath. Door cards, side moldings and rear seat backs are painted the same color as a reference to the concept's bathtub-style cabin.
The Fiat 500 Tributo Trepiuno is part of the "Reloaded By Creators" project curated by the Stellantis Heritage department, which recently gave us one-off models of the Alfa Romeo 4C Unica and Fiat Multipla 6x6. As with Multipla, the Trepiuno concept was designed by Roberto Giolito, currently President of Stellantis Heritage. In the official video below, the experienced designer explains how the production version of the Fiat 500 remained true to the lines of the Trepiuno concept, following an enthusiastic response from the press.
The production version Fiat 500, which arrived in 2007 and was facelifted in 2016, is slightly larger than the concept and has a more traditional four-seat interior. However, the basic forms and style features were preserved. The same can be said for the all-electric Fiat 500e, which follows the same recipe in 2020 with a simple design.
Fiat did not disclose the production figures and price of the 500 Tributo Trepiuno, but said that all limited edition examples will be certified and sold directly by the Stellantis Heritage department.
