00:28 - This comes just over a month after Lala shared
00:31 she'd be undergoing IUI treatments
00:33 or intrauterine insemination to conceive,
00:36 telling Cosmopolitan, quote,
00:38 "I got to thinking, why does my wanting more children
00:41 "need to involve another person?"
00:43 - I've realized that I'm so okay by myself,
00:47 that I have incredible people surrounding me.
00:51 I don't need a man, as cliche as that sounds.
00:54 Like, I'm so fulfilled and happy.
00:57 - By discussing her journey,
00:59 Lala hopes to destigmatize IUI.
01:01 Quote, "I will not gamble on me having my child.
01:04 "I just don't think that finding a partner
01:06 "and falling in love with someone
01:08 "has anything to do with bringing a child into the world."
01:12 Lala welcomed a daughter Ocean with ex Randall Emmett
01:15 in March of 2021.
01:16 The couple called off their three-year engagement
01:19 nine months later, their relationship imploding
01:21 after claims of Randall repeatedly cheating on her,
01:24 which he's denied.
01:26 - It's why I'm in a custody battle.
01:28 Ocean Kent has to be protected.
01:30 It's like, really bad.
01:33 - The pair is currently facing off
01:35 in a contentious custody battle,
01:36 something Lala's been open about
01:38 on season 11 of "Vanderpump Rules."
01:41 - My ultimate goal with custody
01:43 is just looking out for the well-being of Ocean.
01:46 His biggest thing is, I don't wanna give her full legal,
01:49 because that would mean she can put Ocean
01:50 on "Vanderpump Rules."
01:52 But I'll give her final say on education and health,
01:56 and I'm like, "Well, that's all I (beep) want.
01:58 "I don't give a (beep) about putting her
01:58 "on 'Vanderpump Rules.'"
02:00 - How do you feel about him requesting
02:01 that she not be on the show?
02:03 - I was okay with it.
02:04 I knew that it was coming, you know?
02:07 He doesn't, he likes to be in the spotlight.
02:09 He had no problem parading my child into scenes
02:12 when he was a part of it,
02:13 and now suddenly it's not good for her.
02:15 So I knew, like, he didn't even have to send me
02:18 some stupid legal letter.
02:20 I was like, "I know how this works,
02:22 "but I'm doing what I need to do
02:23 "to ensure her safety and her future."
02:26 - And for Lala, the future with two little ones looks bright.

02:51 I haven't felt that way in a really long time.
02:53 - She's yet to reveal baby number two's gender,
02:55 but jokes on her Instagram story,
02:57 "If I have another girl, God help me,
02:59 "and my gorgeous shoes."
