The reaction to TV presenter Dan Walker announcing he had bought into a cafe has been “insane” with customers coming from across Sheffield.
Business has been booming since Dan revealed he is new co-owner of Brook Coffee Rooms in Fulwood, according to barista Charlie Fitzjohn.

00:12 It's been super busy, everyone's been coming in just to find out what's going on.
00:18 It was busy anyway, so it's not like a massive change, but everyone's just been so welcoming
00:25 and looking to see what's going to happen to the cafe next.
00:29 I've heard that a few people have been talking about him outside of the cafe,
00:34 but when they've come in, obviously a couple of our locals have mentioned that maybe they might get to see him
00:40 when they pop in, a bit of excitement. But generally everyone's been pretty low-key about it,
00:47 but I suspect a few are hiding and looking around corners.

01:03 Well, we know Dan loves his cakes, so you never know, we may come up with something and name it after him.
01:11 But he also loves his eggs, we understand, so I expect everyone coming in to try to be part of the egg club.
01:20 I haven't actually served him myself, but quite a few of the crew have served him at the weekends.
01:27 He's been in a few times with Tony, who obviously we know from Incliffe Park fame.
01:33 So that's been really nice to see the two of them enjoying coffee and cake together,
01:37 and sometimes Tony has a sandwich. But he does come in quite frequently and he's always so lovely.
